MY ADOPTIVE TOWN/CITY

Practically speaking, my hometown Leganes is the first town to pass by when leaving the city going north. Though I grew up in Leganes and adopted the culture, beliefs, and practices of my own hometown, Iloilo City is what I considered to be as my adoptive city. This place plays a major influence of who I am today.

I was asked by my parents when I was still a kid and is about to enter primary education where do I want to go to school. I excitingly answered "Assumption." I went to school here from Kinder to High School and I am proud to say that Assumption Iloilo molded me to become who I am today especially through their academic & values education.

                                    ILOILO PROVINCIAL CAPITOL

Literally speaking, Capitol became my second home. My parents worked here for almost 33 years. Since I started school in Assumption, I practiced the routine "Dul-ong - sugat." After departure time, my late father would pick me up in school and I will stay at their office until their off. Capitol became my second home because I have friends who became family and Godparents who stood up with me especially when Papa passed away.

Since I met these unique and beautiful individuals in the city, they do have a share in the chapters, of my life. We may have misunderstandings sometimes but these misinterpretation helped us to even know each other and to accept and love one another not just as bestfriends but as a family.
